“888" (2024)

“The painting "888" was painted on a special day - August 8, 2024. It is a powerful portal of abundance and prosperity. August 8 is the so-called "Lion's Gate" - one of the most powerful days of the year to manipulate energy in a beneficial way - to attract what we desire. Additionally, the year 2024 is also the vibration of the number 8. This combination of day, month and year happens every 9 years. On this exact day, I performed a white magic ritual for abundance. When the incense finished smouldering, I mixed its remains with paint and 24-karat gold, silver and applied it to the canvas. The painting shows a man (it's me, but it could be any of you) who connects with the energy of the universe. When I visualize grounding, I imagine roots growing from my feet towards the core of the earth. This provides a sense of security and strengthens the aura. The figure is embedded in a golden egg - a sun with 8 rays. Around the sun there is a sky full of symbols, runes, and zodiac signs.”

The whole image is painted using the movement technique 8 referring to infinity and creating a talisman that attracts abundance and prosperity.
